Superb bottle to match with a Ribeye steak, but unfortunately this is the last of three.

  • 14.5% - Clear, med to deep purple / clean, med+ intensity - black cherry, mix berry fruit, leathery and animal, black pepper, pastry vanilla, spice box / dry, med acidity, med to full body, med+ well integrated tannin, med+ intensity, persistent length. This is a solid Vacqueyras, which slightly improved from the last bottle. 89+

  • 14.5% - Clear, med+ purple / clean, med to pronounced intensity - blackberry, black cherry, blood, old leather, spicy, black pepper, cinnamon and light vanilla pod in retro-olfaction / dry, med acidity, med+ body, med+ velvety tannin, med to pronounced intensity, med length, well balanced with ripe fruit and juicy texture. Drank over 3 days.
    I would drink the remaining bottles within the next 5 years.
