This wine simply has it all. It’s very rich and full-flavored and quite Burgundian, yet the balance, freshness and acidity belie this richness. As does its 13% alcohol. And I suspect it will continue to age gracefully for some time. Best of all, it’s a bargain. Even at its normal $55 price. And certainly at only $29

Same wine I stated last time. Tropical fruit and wood on the nose. On the palate has oak is too prominent, the fruit is tropical with pineapple, mango and some citrus and a bit spice in the background. It’s a weighty Chardonnay and a style I don’t like.

Golden colour with a visible spritz. Nose of ripe tropical fruits including pineapple, banana and mango. The wine is weighty, oak is prominent with ripe pineapple, banana and mango fruit, alcohol is noticeable which rather spoils it. Feels a little overworked and out of balance.

No detailed note, but drinking really well - but the big structure suggests it has more time left.

Clear pale straw. Slightly effervescent. Plastic, apricot, white peach. Slightly sweet, low acids, very low tannins. Banana. Medium slightly acidic finish.
