  Beau vin mais qui me semble légèrement moins expressif que la dernière fois. Pas qu’on parle de déclin, mais le nez est plus discret, on y décèle quand même un fruit noir, un côté floral et poivré ainsi que des notes tertiaires. Tout de même un très bon vin, qui allie du corps, de la générosité du fruit et de la chaleur avec une souplesse et un côté très digeste apporté par une acidité qui s’assure qu’aucune impression de lourdeur soit présente. Ne pas tarder pour la dernière et ne pas trop l'aérer.

  After the previous flawed bottle I opened another and it was identical and undrinkable. But instead of discarding it I left it open for four hours, then double-decanted and put in the fridge. After 24 hours the wine was very nice. I hesitate to give it a rating, but it was an enjoyable Syrah-dominant Rhone wine with deep, vibrant color, lots of youth, and considerable raw material in the glass. I wish I had other bottles for further experiments ! T

  Deep, full color; dark berry and forest nose, already showing age; good acid, decent structure and tannin, nice hint of residual sweetness, A Crozes with no faults, but which underwhelms on most counts. At $20 I would probably buy again, but this would not be my first choice.
