Nose: Gooseberries, cat pee, freshly cut grass and some buttery oak. Taste & palate: Buttery maize, medium oiliness, nicely balancing acidity. Finishing with a slight (and appetising) bitterness. This wine currently display more oaky notes than before (and a bit much for my liking).

Nose: Butter, white asparagus, maize, wood, hints of smoke. Taste & palate: Very fresh (acidity), structured, fruity core, medium bodied (promising a richer wine with age), young and forward but still elegant. Has improved since tasted last. A very "French" Kiwi SB. Great value for money at around EUR 11 - 12! Drink now - 2018 (or possibly even longer).

Nose: Direct and immediate buttery nose, complemented by buttered, white asparagus and buttered corn. All indicating a good dose of new wood. Some cat pee, gooseberry and freshly cut grass hiding behind the butter. But to mee this smells more of South Eastern Australian Chardonnay than Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Taste & palate: Medium body, nice freshness/acidity, very fruity. Buttery oak noticeable here too, but more of the fruitiness comes through. Quite long aftertaste. Taste more interesting than nose. An agreeable, fruity, young wine but slightly dissapointing from one of my favourite Sancerre (and all of Loire) producers. I can't help but wonder how this might have smelled and tasted with less use of new oak. Drink 2013 - 2017(?)

Au nez, agrumes et fruits tropicaux. Se poursuit en bouche, avec une acidité assez vive et un bel équilibre. Belle présence en bouche pour le prix.
