I could easily see most people disliking this wine, but I loved it! Gewurztraminer like on the nose with Pineapple, Mango, Stewed Apples, Lychee, Some Spiciness, but the palate revealed ripping acidity and some freshness to it. Drank it over a few days and during that time, more minerality slowly revealed itself, a slight saline quality, and an even more present Rancio note that I love. Something tells me this could keep going for awhile, but not sure I will have the patience to hold on to my other bottle.

Pale gold, strong pineapple aroma on nose with hints of apple and vanilla. Rich mouthfeel that gets cut unexpectedly with brilliant acidity. Crushed rocks, flint and minerals close things out. This is good stuff. The energetic finish was definitely not something I expected from the appearance, aroma and initial mouthfeel and 14% alcohol. Great food wine.
