Tart cranberries and cream, some mineral notes with touches of peach as well. Super fine bubble structure. More subtle red and pink fruits - grapefruit, citrus fruits. Tons of acidity and really nice austerity on the finish.

Wine-pages.com Festival of Wine Champagne Deutz Masterclass (Glasgow): Quite an expressive nose (much more so than the NV): crisp black fruit and a touch of leesy toast. Compared to the Deutz NV Rosé, this seems much winier on the palate. Some characcter here. But also a bit of a sour note that seems, if not to dominate, to hold the rest in check, smothering any great interest.

(Disgorged fall of 2014) Salmon pink colour with a steady stream of fine bubbles. Nose still youthful showing strawberries and minerals. Fresh palate showing minerals and with a cherry stone finish. Nice and fresh already but will probably get much better with cellaring.

(Degorged fall of 2014) Salmon pink colour. Still very youthful of course, showing sweet wild strawberries. Youthful and creamy palate showing sweet gooseberry and rhubarb and with a nice long finish.

Absolutely great balance! Fresh red berries, moderate acidity, a little ginger and perfect perfect balance!
