Fresh and lively, with a penetrating bouquet of peach, pear and some salty minerals; There's great acidic cut on the finish, with some lingering floral notes; Drinking very well right now

A replacement for the Huet (sort of). I’ve written about this wine before and it didn’t disappoint this night. Really penetrating, enthralling nose of mineral, green apple, flowers and such. Great intensity and an almost pine-y sappiness with great minerality and precision on the palate. Certainly the best vintage for this wine and a wine to watch in the future. It seems to have the stuffing to age, but I’m not sure that I will. It will be so good over the next 3-4 years, why bother?

This wine is just amazing to drink. Beautiful, nuanced nose of chalky flowers and pitted white fruits. The palate is fairly generous, not razor like, but quite crystilline. This wine is drinking so well now, I'm not sure how long my remaining bottles will last.

Smells like the blue sky! Clean, stoney, citrus, honey. Rich texture with a long honeyed finish. Still young and the acidity needs some time to settle down. Nice wine.

(Bernard Baudry "La Croix Boissee" Blanc) This was riveting wine. I mean really rivetting. Rosy the riveter rivetting. It had beautiful Chenin fruit on the nose with apricot, pear and even a hint of exotic citrus. This wine is aged in old oak and it adds a beautiful textural element that makes this sexy juice so easy to go down. Concentrated and elegant with exceptional purity and ripeness and a long finish that coats your palate. This wine was smiling at me the whole time I was drinking it and I was smiling right back.....and that is a big task as I have not been smiling much lately. All hail Bernard Baudry!
