  • Much sweeter than I remember this being. Drinkable, but no longer a dry wine.

  • I am a little disappointed that this one comes across with quite a bit of sweetness. All the northern Michigan wines are light and elegant, often with precise, searing acidity. This is a very tasty wine, but to my palate the moderate sweetness overpowers most of those delicate flavors. There is lots to enjoy with wine. The fruit is incredibly fresh peach, pear, ripe apple, pineapple, citrus and melon. There is a super pure taste of pure, floral bee's honey on the roof of the mouth. There is a sneaky amount of Granny Smith Apple acidity. The finish is a touch flabby and wandering.
