  Sat, 11/03/18, $2 Tasting (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): 2,000 cs made
  
  N: Vanilla atop ripe berries; Intensity lurking?
  
  P: MF, poss Med, body; ALMOST swtish frt met by some tangy acidity which transitions into a LONG, very, VERY slightly tangy finish with a DISTINCT swtness to the virtually non-existent, UNOFFENSIVE dusty tannins. For now & through '19, poss a tad longer. 14.5% ABV; My VG+/EXC-, certainly the higher IF one likes a RIPE style &/or focuses upon the QPR of this vendor's (close-out?) $8.95, which is a stunning ≈ $7 < the next lowest wine-searcher listing! 92 pts Suckling & 89 WS.
