Dark crimson red, darker than your typical generic Burgundy and also much better and with more body. Strawerries and raspberries, tannins still present. Some complexity but not at the level of a 1er or grand cru. Good winemaking. Only drawback, the price at USD 33.

La Paulée de San Francisco - The Verticals (The Fairmont - San Francisco CA): Tasting, brief note. 15/14/13 vertical. Black cherry, berry that are rich while easily accessible and fun.. Nicely balanced and textured.

OW Loeb Burgundy 2013 En Primeur Tasting; 1/14/2015-1/15/2015 (London): En Primeur tasting: My notes simply said "This CANNOT be Bourgogne!". Brilliant depth and breadth on the palate with good use of oak - fleshy and oppulent yet always in balance. A buy for me.
