  This red wine actually smells like bananas. There is also some earthy iron ore aromas on the nose that continue through the palate. Rather light in texture and mouth feel. Tastes a little like grape seed and skins. With a little air we get a slightly unripe mulberry and rhubarb flavor. A lingering taste of hemlock on the roof of the mouth. Plenty of balancing malic acid. More banana with tart red raspberry on the finish.
