  • Classic California wood monster. Tastes young with oak front and center. Over extracted for my taste, this is none the less a well crafted wine that succeeds in what it tries to be. Will last longer than Cellar-Tracker predicts.

  • This is better than the 2010 I had recently. This wine has more structure and the tannins are almost hefty enough to compete with this fruit forward flavor profile. I get the feeling that these estate cabs are better when blended.

  • Sweet Cabernet nose with a touch of alcohol. Big California fruit and oak on the palate. Over extracted for my taste, but not over ripe. Decent acidity keeps this big wine from becoming clumsy. Probably worth a couple more points with a few years of bottle age. Those who appreciate this style of wine should seek this out. Good value.
