Certainly at peak with pure red fruit alongside a light mid palate and short finish. But the overall wine profile is feminine and easy to like. Drink up. 89-90

Has abit of Chambolle-Musigny in it besides the usual La Croix Blanche. Soy, earthy mushrooms with some mature red fruits. Checks the box for complexity at this level, but again, I don’t think it’s getting any better, maybe even starting the downward tumble.

Lunch at Yuzu; 9/5/2020-9/6/2020 (Yuzu): Labelled as a Bourgogne as she blends some Chambolle into this. Lightest of all wines, fresh rose petals on the nose. The palate is a little savoury with good freshness, lots of strawberries and cherries. Put on weight and complexity on the second day, very classy wine.

Retains good colour; cosseted nose, low-key sous bois & soft red fruits; light, deft, acidity to fore yet shapely; stylish finish. Drink soon.

Similar to bottle a year ago, though I’d say drinking even better.
