Pronounced nose intensity with ripe red fruits, mushroom, flora, violet. Medium tannin and medium acidity.

This had a complex, ethereal perfume, roses, violets, peonies, pungent limestone mineralite. Dark red fruited palate with raspberries, pomegranate, confection, Turkish Delight, chinotto, cola, spice, punchy and sappy, great acidity, unobtrusive tannin, gorgeous, feminine Bourgogne with perfect harmony and balance, actually very complex.

Good bit of reduction here. Once that subsides a bit, the nose shows truffle, earth, spice and red fruit. Silky and long. This is one of the more serious (and better) Bourgognes I’ve had. Still young and will age well.
