A pleasant nose, with lots of lime and chives. Light body, dry, good acid. Better well chilled than lightly, and it opened up nicely over an hour. Some pleasant almond notes developing, but this one is probably long past its prime. Drink up. $12

At the end of its lifecyle, this wine has darkened somewhat. Aromas of almonds, hazelnuts, and citrus. Palate has apple, pear, and hazelnut. I preferred it when it was younger, but it is still drinking well in a very different way.

Best gewurz I've ever had. Pale straw in color. Not much aroma, but then yellow apples as it warms in the glass. On the palate it is textbook, pitch-perfect apples and honey. Bone dry and steely, with the impression of sweetness from the honey notes but nothing cloying or unctious. Buy it if you can find it!
