For the modern crowd--a mouthful of cherries in a silky package, lubricated by the glycerin of a 15.5% brew.. Power, elegance, fruit, structure, and acidity. And still with youthful vigor.

short tasting note @ l'Insieme Tour 2015: A dark and alcoholic beast, lots of density and weight, dark flavors of cassis, more like Cabernet than Nebbiolo, muscular style and in need of bottle time. Not very classy. - 90 points

New Arrivals (121 BC, Sydney): savoury, meat - cold cuts, tar, rose and plum over cherry. In the mouth medium plus acid, high tannins dominate slight plum and cherry. A little simple (which is partially youthfulness) and a little short.
