An excellent pinot with notes of cherry, raspberry, spice with well integrated tannins and velvety mouth feel. Well balanced with nice finish. Paired with smoked salmon quiche.

Better than expected. At first I had some concern this was going to be more lush and plush than I like. However, it didn’t turn out that way - the fruit is concentrated and tasty cherries, though not sweet. Perhaps it’s at peak now but seems like it should have many more years of good drinking.

Short decant. Still vibrant and fresh. Better than notes indicate from 3 years ago. In a great drinking window. I would recommend drinking up but still might have a little time left in the bottle though I am not sure the wine will continue to improve.

Cork intact, slight infiltration but otherwise solid. Stained medium maroon. Good fruit still and took time to open up. This version/vintage has a deeper bouquet and flavor. Tend to prefer the Sonoma or Russian River versions, but this was as good as those. Is this reflective of a good vintage/ bottle age, or both? Very nice pinot with both fruit and tannins well evolved. Fruit was the star but the thicker (but not heavy) mouthfeel possible due to age and soil coming together. A clear winner. Drinking well now, and would drink sooner than later.

A very nice medium body (14.2%) wine. Floral fragrance followed by smooth black cherry and plum fruit. Super long finish.
