  Not corked, but something definitely wrong. Smelled and tasted like paint thinner. Its a shame - the 4 previous bottles I’ve had have been superb

  This was a part of 1997 and 1999 Tuscan tasting including 3 Brunellos and 2 Super Tuscans, same producers from each year. Black cherry, and plum, bordering on stewed fruit, iodine, violets. The tannins are ripe and nearly resolved; moderately long finish. Classic modern Brunello; very enjoyable.
