Disgusting, no less, prunes galore, heated, overdone, stone dead; hiring Deranoncourt was the best thing, Mister Romero ever did - but alas, that was not before 2002 .... anyway, some people actually liked this wine, I hated it. (with Pacalet at CP),

Still in need of a serious long decant. All of the fruit and garrigue of a great CDP, but with the structure (and oak) of a modern, powerful right bank Bordeaux. Inky colored with a nose of black cherry, cassis, smoke, garrigue and a bit of roast meat. Powerful and full on the palate with a long, finish with a moderate amount of wood and grape tannin. A little more oak than I would like to see, but a very impressive Rasteau that outguns a lot of modern new-oaked CDPs. Has at least 15 years in reserve.
