Absolutely the best overall $10 bottle of wine I have ever purchased, hands down. Purchased through winebid.com in 2011. This was absolutely beautiful tonight. Well integrated port-style wine with clove, green pepper, dark chocolate, and hints of high-toned eucalyptus that are actually in balance. Resolved, with some secondary port characteristics coming in. Difficult for me to say if it is at peak or may benefit from more time in bottle but I certainly think it will drink well and evolve well for at least another 10 years. Finish 60 seconds. Very impressive effort.
I rated this 89 points in 2013 and the upside with 8 years was tremendous.

Blowing in the Wind (Rocknroller's (Kevin & Vicki's Place)): Very dark red/purple color. Drank a glass over 30 minutes. From 375ml. Boy this hit it right tonight. This is a lot better than the last time I had it nearly 5 years ago. This is now well integrated and balanced, black fruit, fully in sync, fig, spiced, oak, floral, black raspberry, great creamy texture, very supple and smooth. Loved it.

A Wet Spanish Wine Wednesday (Rocknroller's (Kevin & Vicki's Place)): Deep ruby red color. Drank 1 glass from 375ml over 30 minutes. Fig, blackberry, cherry, blackberry liqueur, spicy, licorice, sweet, alcohol, though fairly balanced by the sweet berries. 88+pts.

Thick with raspberries, brown sugar, menthol and Carmel. A bit hot but pairing with chocolate helps. This should age for another few decades.
