Unfortunately, the wine is not drinkable. Tasted out of the barrel with great promise, so, bought six. First bottle seemed to still preserve that promise, however, the last two bottles show the wine has completely missed the mark and is only good for cooking. Have some Dastarte that has been disappointing as well.

Needs a minimum of 2 years before drinking the next bottle, but, wanted to try one at this stage. Aromas of wild berry and violets just jump out of the glass. Dark color, but, not as opaque and concentrated as many petites. In spite of overpowering acidity, nice ripe red and dark berry flavors and as the wine opened up the oak element really presented itself. Over time as the acid tempers, oak integrates and fruit develops more complexity, this wine could move into the 90+ category. Looking forward to enjoying this for quite some time.
