A flight of 4 Chardonnays: Tasted Chanson Pere & Fils Meursault Village 2013 (developed in the glass, ended up beeing the best of the 4. Perfect right now - classical Meursault, rich but not too rich with stone fruit, toast and balanced acidity. Drink it now! - it's not getting better in the coming years. 91/100). Darviot-Perrin Meursault-Perrieres 2005 (too old and premox! Bad luck). Instead I chose J.M Boillot Puligny-Montrachet 1. cru Les Combottes 2008 (tasted it 3 times before with different results. Based on the tastings my recommendation is: Drink it now. 2 of the bottles, including this had past it's best. It was ok, but oxidation definitely in processs. 90/100). The last bottle was Kistler Noiseteers 2016 (Richer than the Bourgogne bottles, which were more elegant. 90/100).

Courcel/ Chanson Tasting with Gilles de Courcel (Chevalier Fine Wines - Chicago IL): Tasting, brief note. Floral start, rich fruit on nose and palate with good power and length for its level.
