  • This is soft light pinot made in an old world style. Cassis, tobacco, sweet spice, red fruits, fresh acidity with balanced tannins. The length evolves with complexity. Straight from the bottle, decanting will not improve further as it was not improving in the glass. Getting lighter, sweeter and more tangy (acid pronounced).

  • Garnet color. Powerful and straightforward aromas of black fruits. Palate supports the nose. Tannins are smooth. Overall impression is that this wine lacks elegance and beauty of Vosne-Romanee and would be hard to recognize in blind tasting. It is not for aging and should be enjoyed now. Tasted from the glass and might have missed something, but rather disappointing wine.
Hand picked grapes come from 3 separate parcels in V-R. Cold maceration, aged for 16-18 months in 40% of new oak.

  • The nose is very nice with notes of cherry, oak, spice and mint. The palate is subtle at first, but finishes strongly with more cherries and a touch of the oak, with silky tannins and acidity which lingers on the tongue for a long while after. A nice wine but unfortunately not worth what I paid.
