  i had bought a bunch of wine back in 2014 which in all honestly I had forgotten about and they were in my West Coast storage . There were three of these bottle included and I shipped a case back East last week and have been trying them. Yesterday at our election day lunch we pnp'd this one. It is a nice wine. The nose was all fruit. The palate was berries and a streak of cranberry that ran through it leading to a moderately long finish.

  Several hour decant, in the glass this is dark purple and thick, with a nose that is all blackberry with slight oak tones. The palate is overstructured with intense, chewy tannins, with the acidity in the background, but present enough to keep it from being flabby. It is tough to get past the rough tannic structure to find anything beyond it, though the finish is quite long. All in all the QPR is poor, this varietal is not well expressed here.

  Quite a sweet berried dense nose; lovely pretty aromatic berried fruits on the palate, delicious and long, just a touch drying on the finish.
