Nose of lemon/lime, lots and lots of very fine, vigorous bubbles formed a terrific mousse, even the second night, spring bouquet, slate, shale, dried fruits, and hazelnuts, same on the palate, big body, very tasty, good acid, crisp, refreshing, almost elegant, mouth filling fruit, and a long, long finish.

Big Time Barolo and Barbaresco Fest et al (Il Foro, Mpls, MN): Pale gold with hints of a reddish hue. Followed 1 glass over an hour. This was interesting and generally good, others seemed a bit more enamored that I was. Strong mineral nose, melon, citrus, oxidative nose. The palate is consistent, oxidative, sour, citrus, and some dried sour cherry notes. Lacks some finesse IMO. 88+ to 89pts.
