T. Edward Wines - Fall 06; 8/23/2006-8/24/2006: this is a nice QPR, less pungent, earthy, light, clean and refreshing with good fruit that dont dominate though, drink now. nice tannins on the finish.

T. Edward Wines Fall 2006 Portfolio Tasting (New York City): Medium ruby color. A bit tight on the nose, with earthy and barnyardy notes, but alluring and interesting. On the palate it shows youthful tannin and promise; this should get better with a few years in the cellar. Nice QPR.

An up-front horsiness on the nose, with some red/black fruit behind it. On the palate, sweet fruit, rather disjointed acidity, and, again, a dominant horsiness that was distracting and unpleasant.

Seemed dull...as though I couldn't smell it. The second day it tasted too grape juice like, it lacked complexity.
