Appearance: Medium deep garnet colour, medium wide rim. Nose: Initially some dark fruits in direction of ripe, dark plums and dark cherries. Later also some oily herbs and medicinal smells of camphor and band-aid. Taste & palate: Soft, almost rich, mature but still with lots of life. Nice freshness balancing the maturing fruit and the alcohol & glycerin very well. Still drinking nicely but very mature. Drink up!

Appearance: Between ruby and maroon, at the outer rim more towards brick red. Only very small amounts of sediment.
Nose: initially very closed / muted. Only after half an hour of active, vigorous airing does it finally open up: At first it's red berries. Then comes some syraesque meat & blood, then medicinal notes, "fat" dried green herbs and gradually everything starts to fall into place.
Taste & palate: Still fruity! Clean, almost cool red berries. Then acidity and tannins join. Medium light body, but expanding a little with air.
A refreshing, surprisingly young and structured 9,5 years old Campuget Tradition. Age seems to have slimmed this wine down a bit but it's surprising how lively it is and what a cool and clean fruit flavour it displays. Now this might not be perfectly balanced nor is it very open or rich. On the contrary I'm surprised by how tightly knit, young and cool this wine appears. I'm not sure this wine wasn't better before but this is very unlike what I'd expect from this wine (or any Costières de Nîmes) at ~10 years. Interesting.

Mature and slightly bricking color. This is nice, but feels like it is on its last legs. Very smooth and elegant. Very purple / bluish palate with blueberries, menthol and olives. Nice start, but the finish is clipped and simple. Drink up.

Discovering Wine: A nice ruby color with a nose of black olives and earth. Tastes of berries with a smooth & creamy with a sharp tang on the finish.

Can't really believe the other note and I are drinking the same wine. Thin reedy and unmemorable for me.
