Lots of sun on these grapes, the bottle screams new world wine. Ample notes of cocoa, ripe fruits without too much sweetness as could be feared. Not that distinctively Syrah in fact. Overall well made, slightly heavy but remains pleasant.

(tasting@ClarendonHills w Alex Bratasiuk) Dark musty saddle leather, rich dark plums, long concentration, beefy, barnyard nose. Sweetly focused plums, leafy, rich and clean. Long leather notes, on the long finish, shwoing pure blackfruit, cassis and christmas spices. Mushroom, chicken essence espresso, chewy leather, slate and red earth. Young - but lots more potential as it matures. Lovely!
