Decanted 45 minutes before service. In the glass, a clear pink meniscus, shading to a dark, clear magenta/maroon at the core. On the nose, an interesting mixture of red fruit, mocha, and bell pepper. On the palate, herbs, coffee, blueberries, and a secondary note of green vegetables - must be the cab franc talking. I didn't really peg this as having a strong grenache component, just a more general berry component. I was hoping for a bit more of a shootout between the grenache and the cab franc, but nonetheless, this was still an interesting wine.

Pop and pour. This wine just keeps getting better. Thick, silky body with lovely mixed fruit and a touch of citrus and spice. Admittedly I'm a big Sanguis fan but this wine was underrated on release and is steadily improving. Seems to be at peak right now.

Pop and pour. Beautiful. Consistent with previous note. No reason to hold further. My last bottle, sad.

Tight initially, needed a few hours to open. Nice currant nose.
