  No proper nose. Even though this has a few years on its side it is surprisingly muted and undeveloped. Given a sturdy swirl and a bit of time the nose is quite decent with lots of herbs, oregano, tarragon, light mint a touch of dried cherries and a quite alcohol touch with hints of almonds (like amaretto).
  
  The palate is much less interesting. Lacking acidity and plagued by a fairly distinct sweetness. OK length and intensity.
  
  Won't buy again. Not at all my type of Amarone.

  Straighforward Amarone, lots of ripe fruits, dark berries, chocolate. Smooth on the palate, good length, taste mirrors the nose very well. A nice standard Amarone.
