Rich citrus nose. Lively acidity on palate alongside a burst of flavors. Great value and screw cap as a bonus. Perfect wine to grab when it's not a GG night. First of 3 bottles for us so don't have prior reference but after a 2001 Kabinett last night this is going to seem youthful.

When we get into our real cold snaps here I like to reach for something with bracing acidity. Served against chicken thighs with parnsips and ginger dish, the pairing was quite good. The wine is focused and fresh, very light on the palate and light coloring but a great snap to attention in acidity and pucker. Crisp pale fruits, like unripe pear. Medium intensity in the flavor dept. A fun bottle.

RMalloy's note sums it up very nicely; this is a terrific effort for the price. After a few hours, the wine seemed a touch sweeter on the finish than before Delicious now, but it would be interesting to see how it evolves in the next five years or so.

Very good. Lots of citrus, including orange and lime, along with a sensation of wet rock. While the wine is dry and steely, the fruit has a touch of sweetness that I find appealing. There's also a touch of Riesling rubberiness. The finish is long and includes some peach. I think this wine is underrated and superb for the price.
