Very similar to the bottle I had 6 months ago. It was opened an hour prior to dinner. The nose was all fruit The palate was blackberry, red cherry, plums, currants and tobacco leading to a moderately long finish that brought out hints of coffee.

Almost a year since I last tried a bottle. It was opened two hours prior to dinner. Dark red fruit on the nose. The palate was blackberry, red cherry, plums, currants and tobacco leading to a moderately long finish that brought out hints of mocha.

Fantastic expression of Malbec from Mt. Veeder. Holding incredibly well at this stage. Purple Ruby color, unfiltered. Boysenberry, blackberry, floral, black licorice, devils food cake aromas on the nose. Well integrated and still showing quite a bit of freshness. Blueberry/blackberry, iron and savory on the palate. Wonderful pairing with bbq.

This may be my new second favorite California Malbec. Gorgeous deep purple ruby color with aromas of Black Cherry, sweet tobacco, vanilla, and sage. Round juicy mouth feel with still grippy mount veeder tannins carrying cherry, vanilla, milk chocolate and sage across the palate.
