Very pretty Burgundy, and very much a soil-to-glass-transfer wine to borrow a phrase from JLL. This is all earth and rock quarry dust at first, and the bright red fruit emerges with a bit more air. While the fruit's still largely in the background, it's not by any means lean or austere - there's still the same sappy brightness to the fruit that I've found in a lot of other 2010s, and the whole package is very easy to drink.

PopnPour, tasted over 3 hrs -nearly semi-translucent med red trace clearing at edge -mild reduction funk perfumed wet stone cherry -med acidity builds to med+ peeking in near the finish, med- weight moderately sappy almost liqueur-like stony raspberry with limited complexity, med shading toward med+ tightly coiled tannins med length finish with mild cherry pit bitter note -very pleasant unadorned lighter weight red-fruited nicely aromatic pure mildly rustic loaded with the energy of the vintage, still on the upside but would target in the next 5 years as there may not be enough depth to carry it gracefully for another decade

Consistent with my last bottle. Light on its feet with fresh, pale red fruited flavours accented by floral notes and an intense stony/chalky minerality beneath. The savoury and mineral elements are much more prominent than the fruit here - this is a Burg for rockheads, with remarkable lightness on the palate and bright acids making it very easy to drink.

Carnberrry tucked back in there TIm notes, with a touch of funk, just opened so hollow in the mid but with enought structure and length to come around.

Bright, tart red fruit; very light, soft tannin, medium acidity. Medium finish of tart, light fruit. Fairly austere. Good.
