Summer Party (JavaMonkey's house): Pale gold color. Aromas of green apple and underripe stone fruit, with a touch of honeysuckle. Nice balance, there's just a touch of sweetness, but with a nice crispness to counter.

Clear pale gold core with green highlights extending out to a thin watery rim. Wine 'glows' in the glass - Youthful in appearance. Clean expressive apricot, pineapple, peach, nectarine and lemon aromas of moderate+ intensity with just a hint of vanilla. Dry but soft on the palate with moderate to full body, moderate+ acid and moderate alcohol. Flavours of pineapple, citrus and again a bit of vanilla of moderate+ intensity. The finish is moderate to long with some spiciness and just a bit of bitterness at the end. An excellent food wine and good to sip on it's own. Delicious example of Viognier and not over the top as so many are. Drink now for it's youthful appeal - not one to age. Excellent Quality Price Ratio.
