  • Decanted.
Nicely perfumed with scents strawberry, raspberry and cherry notes that mingle well with savory herbs, cola, salty minerals and rose flowers with a hint of smoke and ash.
On the palate this shows good mid-palate density but remains medium-minus in body. Juicy and racy with flavors that show focus and precision; Strawberry, raspberry and juicy red cherry with hints of rhubarb. Flavors of cola, bramble, flowers, mineral, vegetable ash and herbs weave there way into the fold. Long on the focused finish lingering on the red fruits and spice

  • I was pleasantly surprised by this..been having a lot of disappointing attempts at grabbing some value wines lately, so this was a step in the right direction. The nose had some nice dark cherry fruit along with some earthiness to it. Flavor was pretty consistent as well.

  • Very promising old-world nose... Prominent barnyard component, oak spices, sour cherries, and kind of a darker blueberry note. On the palate, oak spices, vanilla, some earth, and lean red cherries. The finish is persistent, very nice aromatics, very pleasant wine with good acidity. A bit too much oak to my taste though, and some bitterness. Still, a very nice wine, especially considering the price.
