A bit of a disappointment. Reminded me of a slightly better Macon generic bourgogne. It has the acacia/tequila nose and peach or nectarine flavours. a bit simple, acidic, ok. Issue is the price point. I can get a Macon Chaintre, or Verzay, etc... for a third less. I was expecting a bit of Cote D'Or here more than Macon.

This was really raved about when it arrived at work, so I had to try it. Has a waxiness about it on the nose, a tad bit creamy and citrusy, clearly fresh and focused. A bit simple on the palate but has nice length. May need a year or so to settle down.

Prince Saturday Tasting (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): on the nose there are aromas of lemon, slight lime, green apple, wet stone, cream and butter. In the mouth there are flavours of lemon, butter, slight chalkiness and mid palate fur. Slight alcohol warmth to the back palate. Nice, simple but a bit expensive for what it is (45 AUD)
