Gathering at neighbor’s Suzhou villa #5. Medium gold color. Distinct nose of wet stones and minerals. Dry, crisp acidity, pronounced mineral taste that overshadowed the citrus and green apple. Medium body and finish.

Lighter red. Reticent nose. Not-quite-ripe pinot flavors with plenty of acidity. Salty finish. Improves with air. Not as nice as the Matrot Auxey-Duresses 2013, but a good value (if you're a Burgundy fan) for $20 from Invino. Looking to see how it develops. Tasted twice.
