Decanted 1+ hour. Black fruit, violets and cedar on the nose. Medium bodied with good acidity and firm tannins that receded over time. Really started to shine after 2 hours in the decanter. Cassis, tobacco and spice with a hint of earth followed by a nice finish. I think this is just now starting to come into its own and should drink well for another 5-10 years. Purchased as futures and stored at 55 degrees. 91 points with possible upside.

Dark fruit, intricate structure, mellow tannins & earthy complexity—this is just beginning its best drinking period. It will develop further during its next 5 years or so of peak maturity. Needs decanting & 1-2 hours of aeration.

Left this one open in the cellar overnight, and boy was that a good idea. Really nice tonight. Deep dark red, thick-looking, and threw a good bit of sediment. Really fine choclatey, cedary fruit in the nose; beautiful. Smells chunky. And is. With this much air, I think it is fair to say this is at peak drinking, though should plateau for quite some time to come. I am really enjoying wines from this region (P-L) more than I ever have before. A very pleasant surprise. 5-13-16-8: 92/100.

- Brick color with medium forming legs and aromas of mushroom, dusty and cherry. It's balanced and has flavours of raspberry, cherry and black pepper with a medium body. Round texture with a medium finish - Decanted two hours. Served with pecan rubbed rack of lamb for Valentines dinner. Perfect pair.

Pleasant but not extraordinary. Integrated tannins, pleasant dark fruit, high alcohol and perhaps a touch too much acidity.
