Garnet in color with aromas of Easter florals, turned earth and loam. Flavors of dehydrated strawberry and wild cherry on the entry, with an abundance of new oak to give the wine a distinct old-world profile. This wine is well-built and food friendly, though the abrupt finish degrades it a bit.

Argentina & Chile: Light purple color. Smoky aromas, like charcoal and scorched earth on top of red currants and black cherries, hints of loam and coffee as well. Medium-bodied, softly dusty tannins, medium acid, the fruit is juicy and smooth but not too deep (black cherries, juicy plums) Hints of coffee, vanilla, smoky earth, mint and cola. Fun, simple, a drink-me-now style, but well-made and a good introduction to Mendoza Cabernet.

Nice light cab which complemented a beef main dish at friends place. Nice wine for the price point.
