Monthly tasting club LTC 2018-05; Chaos (By BW @ LWH): Still youthful bouquet with a lot of cherries, red berries and green herbs. On the palate darke and red berries, vanilla, bell pepper, some medicine and sweetness. Good acidity and round, supple tannin. Will improve with 2 - 6+ years of ageing. 88 - 90+

Not a lot of aroma, and mild flavors. I taste dark cherry and vanilla and some herb, but I wish these were stronger. Smooth, but thin.

Opened this after finding a $100 2012 WA cab too young to drink. Nice comparison: savoury and Bordeauxish with balanced fruit and herbaceousness plus some old world minerality that made it by far the most satisfying drink. Terrific value for under $20.
