  This has not aged as I expected having quite reduced previously, the color is classic Nebbiolo; nose shows some cinnamon, mint, very sour dried cherry, wilted rose, cedar, and a strong ferrous character; the palate is unfortunately less than pleasant with an off-putting metallic note followed by a sandblasting of harsh tannin, some depth in middle; a very poor showing tonight, hopeful but doubtful this will metamorphasize with further cellaring.

  After Party (Buckhead, GA): Young, sweet candied fruit on the nose, slight cinnamon, still a bit reduced, strawberry, light cherry, watermelon; palate is pent up and youthful, red fruit, lighter, reductive, with air the cinnamon came out a bit and Nebbiolo character came out; give this some time.
