  Drank in 2006. Had very earthy flavors and the semi-sweet tones balanced the mushroom flavors. Very complex for a Chenin Blanc and does not have any residual acidity. Overall a good example of aged Chenin. Complimented a Lingot very nicely.

No real classic chinon funk, alcohol seems a bit high (perhaps due to commercial yeast?) and the finsih a bit flat. Oh well, it was sound and I only paid $15.00 for it, so I think it was worth the gamble.
