  Intense with dark flavors of cinnamon, cloves, prunes, spices and sweet fruits. Good bottle of wine, but it is really sweet - maybe too much, maybe not? I can't really decide. I feel drawn to the deep and intense flavors, but to be honest I miss some bitterness. The taste is sweet and silky with soft tannins and with a long finish. If you're into Amarone-style wines this could be "right up your alley", but pricewise I would would rather "step up" and buy bitter amarone or step down and buy sweet Primitivo/Zinfandel
