This wine is drinking much better this year. On the nose, it starts with a bit of burnt oak, blackberry, black currant , On the palette it has dark fruit, black currant, prune and toasty oak. This is a medium body wine, that has a bit of a leathery texture, and a medium finish. As a Gorman FOG member I think I paid around $16 to $20, on the annual discount sale, great QPR Annie and I both though this is an 89 to 90 point wine.

Soft fruit and the tannins have completely faded. Old World style with a very recognizable Willamette terroir. Drink now.

Last of two bottles. It definitely has turned a corner for the better. Very solid wine and 5 star QPR IMHO.

Solid, not remarkable, but a good solid wine.

Full bodied without being overwhelming.
With pepper steak demonstrated ability to match powerful spice without losing the subtlety to accompany brie later.
Starting to throw a little dusty sediment - standing for a few hours before decanting is in order
