Slightly ox on the nose but still super vibrant on the palate, orchard fruits, modest fatness, spices and great acidity & structure on the back palate supporting lingering finish. Another good 1992 white burg.

Fresh oak, straw yellow, a grassy woodland hay nose. It's fat and very nutty, buttery complexity, with a faint sweetness on the finish. This is a farm boy, rolling up a stack of hay, golden in the sunset, glowing with sweet satisfaction after a good day's work.

Sensational - no other word for it. Old gold colour with a pure aroma of honeyed fruit, and a little grapeyness. The nose becomes quite intense after 2 hours. To taste a lingering and intense wine - pure chardonnay fruit with some restraint but great power. Fully mature and with a touch of honey but so clean and resolved. The finish lasts for well over a minute. As good a Meursault as I have ever drunk.

wine-pages.com SuperBOWL 2009 (Glasgow): A gorgeous yellow gold colour. Fresh, precise roast butter nose. Very elegant palate. Very, very pure and intense.
