Another Saturday at Knightsbridge - mostly blind (Northbrook, IL): Ripe stone fruit on nose, a bit musty to start. Same fruit clearly on palate, ripe but holding up well with good acidity and minerality providing support and increased texture. I brought this because Kevin insists he never likes the wine from Blagny. Today's was an exception to that rule.

Saturday Tasting Group (Knightsbridge Wine Shop (Northbrook, IL)): Strong scent of sulfur on the nose - quite pungent but enjoyable. Yellow fruit but it's mostly hidden by the chemy smell. Cream and butter but a bit sour and funk-da-fied. Gun metal as well on the nose. The palate shows a rusty quality - metallic. Very eccentric. A unique vineyard displaying its chalky and strongly pronounced mineral quality.

At Singer & Foy survey of Jobard. Straw color. Has some bubbles. Wood way overshadows the fruit. Palate is better than its predecessors. Even this one has a bad finish, though. 5-8-10-6: 79/100.

Some smoke notes. Buttery, viscous palate with great focus and tense mineral notes. Some orange fruits. Very nice.
