  What an expirience! Best Spätburgunder I´ve had so far. Light colour with orange and brown reflexes. The nose at first very strong with upfront fruit, seemed young and not at all like an Pinot Noir but more like a wine from south europe, great. After drinking slowly for an hour it came to be real pinot noir in nose and mouth with a wonderfull balance and tertiary aromas and a nice parfume of dried leaves. Enjoyed this very much and looking forward to visiting the winery.

  Quite aged in terms of colour with a brownish rim. A lot more exotic and rich than the 2012 with spices and slightly sweet and very ripe fruit notes on the open nose. Showing the vintage quite clearly. On the palate quite powerful, mineral, again slightly sweet but also a little drying and frail towards the long finish. I don't think this should be kept much longer. Drink up. 91-93

  Der Centgrafenberg R Spätburgunder 2003 vom Weingut Fürst. Dieser überraschte mich mit seiner für den Jahrgang eher untypischen relativ frischen und kühlen Art. Die Frucht wirkte auf mich zwar etwas aufgesetzt und ein Tick zuckrig-kitschig, doch richtig anständig war er allemal.
