Dark garnet fading to pink with a tinge of brown and a thin watery edge. Nose of forest floor, game, dark cherry, and a hint of cola. Palate is medium-bodied, very mineral-driven, and leaves a long aftertaste of funk and fine tannins. Drank over an hour, it kept getting better. This organic offering was not actually bottled until 2016. Outstanding. Jura wines are hit and miss for me. I definitely would buy this one again!

Medium/brilliant ruby. Simultaneously fresh and bright, yet also with a pleasant bare hint of earthy Jura character. And a smidge of white pepper. Balanced, integrated and complete. Decent finish. Very enjoyable over three nights.

Supposed to be the first wine of the Chateau D'Arlay and dating to the 15th century. Released after 5 years in big casks. Beautiful clean and shiny ruby colour. Expressive nose with clean varietal character, with spice and wild red fruits. The palate follows the pattern, with tough tannins and presence of wood, good concentration, lifted young acidity, mineral. Young with potential, but tasty already. Good QPR.

Great freshness, medium body, lifted, elegant, smooth. Red fruits with good minerality. Long and tasty.
