  • Definitely over the top but would have been very nice ten years ago! Still it went very well with our home-made pizza. Cork was saturated but the bottle had a decent level (u = ca. 3 cm)
    Russet with watery rim; plummy, integrated nose with a touch of alcohol; flavour better than expected (closed to start off with but opened up later): balanced and pleasant, although with very little acidity left - almost like a watered out glass of good home-made blackcurrant squash with a touch of integrated tannin left at the end.

    Added after 1 hour: flavour opening up even more - very long (40 seconds). Not bad at all if you like elderly wine...
