Terre Rouge/Easton Tasting Room: Aromas of cherry, anise, dill and allspice berry. Bright and rich cherry fruit on the palate with accompanying spice. Medium-plus acid, lithe tannin, and a clean dry finish.

Decanted 1 hr. ahead. Deep garnet with the merest touch of brick. Nice but shy nose of baked plums, black cherries, spices. Medium-bodied on the palate, with black cherry flavors. Acid balance is toward the center. Finishes fast. A thoroughly pleasant wine.
